Music is amazing for brain development, especially in young children and is one of the only activities that stimulates and activates the entire brain.
Think of Jungle Music as a development course, with music as the main tool. Social skills, listening skills, and fine & gross motor skills will improve in every lesson as your child is immersed in a multi-sensory environment.
The sensory-rich class environment is ideal for immersing your child in music and learning.
“My daughter has been going since she was 6 months (now 2.5 years) and loves it! Her confidence, speech and ability to copy and follow direction is amazing! Now I can’t wait to start my second daughter…
— Gillian Lenz, parent★★★★★

throughout the course, your child will grow in so many ways through activities that nurture the 9 Key Learning Elements that young children need to develop into good learners including:
Sensory development
intellectual development
emotional development
gross & fine motor skills
Self esteem
Literacy skills
Social skills
Language foundations
To better support each child’s development, students are divided into three smaller age groups, each meeting at a separate time. This allows for more focused, age-appropriate instruction
Jungle babies
Age 6-18 months
Our 6–18 month class is a special time for parent and child to connect through music. Together, you’ll explore steady beat, vocal play, and simple movement activities that support early listening and coordination—all in a playful, bonding environment.
Jungle tots
Age 18 mths-2.5yrs
In this stage of rapid development, our 18 month–2.5 year class helps toddlers build musical and motor skills while deepening the parent-child connection. Classes include echo songs, rhythm patterns, movement, and hands-on instrument exploration—all designed to support growing independence and joyful learning.
Jungle Friends
Age 2.5-3.5yrs
In our 2.5–3.5 year class, children begin to take more initiative while still enjoying the comfort of learning alongside a caregiver. We build on musical skills like rhythm, pitch matching, and structured movement, while encouraging creative expression, listening, and early keyboard exploration in a playful, supportive environment.
Hi I’m Caelyn, Your Music Teacher
Why I Teach Piano Differently
I started piano lessons at age 5 and fell in love with music early on. By 12, I was accompanying hymns at church—though not very well yet! A friend and I would each play one hand, and that’s how I first discovered the joy of playing with others. That same year, I got to accompany my homeschool choir, and I was hooked. Music became a way to connect, create, and build friendships.
As a social kid and a homeschooler, piano ensembles and group performances were life-changing. Music became more than just practice—it was a shared experience.
At 16, my family moved to Wisconsin for my dad’s job, but I was fortunate to plug right back into an amazing music prep program. I joined band, choir, and more ensemble work, which fueled my passion even further.
Eventually, I earned my degree in piano pedagogy and composition, and in 2024, I opened my own studio. I quickly grew to 50+ private students but noticed many kids were dropping out—not because they didn’t enjoy music, but because they wanted something more social. That’s when I began training in group piano teaching and discovered how powerful collaborative learning could be. Since then, I’ve seen students stay engaged longer (reducing screen time), grow in confidence, and become more enthusiastic about music when they get to learn and play alongside their peers.
Now, I offer Forte Piano for ages 5+ and Forte Early Childhood (Ages 6months-4years): a dynamic group piano experience that builds well-rounded musicianship, nurtures confidence, and supports the social and emotional growth kids need—especially in today’s post-Covid world.
